The whole loop, in order. Roughly 640 km of driving across five days.

Nothing here is optional reading. The top group changes the plan, the bottom group sells out.

Decide

Every source puts it on Soi Thonglor 13 in Bangkok. It looks like a pin filed from home. The Friday bar plan uses verified Fukuoka bars instead.

Check the pin

The only findable one is in Nishijin, 20–25 minutes by subway and nowhere near your other pins. Verify it or drop it.

Check the pin

No stall resolves under that name. Fukuoka yatai move under the city licence system, so a name alone is not enough to find one.

Both read as self-catering. KEYANZ is confirmed to have no restaurant. Two dinners depend on the answer.

Downtown Nagasaki is hilly and narrow with scarce paid parking. If the hotel has none, you park once and use trams all afternoon.

Call the hotel

Hakata-guchi and Chikushi-guchi are opposite ends. While you are asking, ask about the Kyushu Expressway Pass, which bundles an ETC card with flat-rate tolls.

Call Sixt / ORIX

You land at 07:05 on the 9th. Standard for Japanese business hotels but worth confirming. Backup is the ecbo cloak app, about ¥600 a bag.

Moved off Tuesday: arriving Nagasaki at 11:00 leaves no buffer and no weather slack. Autumn landing success runs about 85%. Sells out for groups.

Yamasa ≈¥4,000, refund-friendly · Gunkanjima Concierge ≈¥5,000, ~94% landing rate

The only one of your 13 Fukuoka pins that takes reservations at all. Indoor capacity is 8, so a party of 6 fits. Cancellation inside 24 hours costs the full amount.

Bar Kurayoshi, Bar Sebek and Bar Higuchi are all 10–20 seat counters. Six people take over half the room, so walking in on a Friday is a real risk.

Things that apply all trip

A party of 6 rarely sits together
Gyukatsu Motomura, Menya ISHII and most ramen counters seat 10–25 at a bar. Assume two tables or two waves every single time, and pick who goes first before you are standing in the doorway.
Carry cash
Yatai are cash only. Most ramen and udon counters are cash or IC card. Suica and ICOCA work on the Fukuoka subway and on Nishitetsu, so there is no need to buy a local card. Ramen Kanetora at Hakata Deitos is the rare one that takes credit and PayPay.
The 10th starts a three-day weekend
Sports Day falls on Monday the 12th. Saturday yatai, Sunday roads and the Aso area on the holiday Monday all run busier with domestic travellers. Add 20–30 minutes to every drive on the 12th.
What to skip
Sumiyoshi Shrine duplicates Kushida. Nokonoshima and Uminonakamichi each cost 1.5–2 hours of round-trip transit. Kamishikimi Kumanoimasu sits on the wrong side of the Aso caldera. The Mount Kurokami hike has chain-assisted scrambles near the summit.
